Woody Harrelson and Kaitlin Olson to Star in Bobby Farrelly Movie – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: Woody Harrelson, Oscar nominee and Emmy winner (real detective, zombieland), Emmy-nominated Kaitlin Olson (Philadelphia is always sunny, hacks), Grammy-nominated Cheech Marin (Born in East LA, dusk till dawn) and Matt Cook (Man with a plan, the return) will lead Champions, a recently completed film that Bobby Farrelly (Stupid and even dumber, There’s something about Mary) made for Focus Features and Gold Circle Entertainment.

Champions is based on the Goya award-winning Spanish film Campeones, released by Universal Pictures International in 2018. It centers on a headstrong and brash minor league basketball coach who is forced to coach a Special Olympics team when he is sentenced to community service.
