Art with Me Festival in Miami for the first time

Miami, open your heart to Art With Me.

The famous Burning Man-style festival, held in Tulum, Mexico last year, arrives Friday through Sunday at Virginia Key Beach Historic Park in Key Biscayne. And you may be a better person for it (or at the very least, count to 10 before honking your horn in I-95 traffic after you leave).

The highly immersive festival “delivers experiences across multiple platforms that immerse, inspire and activate attendees and subscribers” on a “journey to inspire change and foster personal growth”.

Translation: The three-day experience includes not only art installations and exhibitions, but also musical performances, dance and yoga classes, reiki healing sessions, drum circles, panels of well- be (with a side of ice baths), community development workshops, kids’ activities, food and more.

Basically, it’s about having fun and doing good. Art With Me has partnered with local initiatives to promote a more conscious lifestyle in 305.

At last year’s festival in Tulum, for example, more than 10,000 attendees helped remove two tonnes of plastic from the streets. The waste was then recycled. This year, organizers have partnered with the Care with Me Foundation to help at-risk children, many of whom are refugees.

Founder David Graziano says he’s more than excited to launch the four-year event in the Magic City to help “cultivate positive change.”

“In a world where we emphasize productivity over health, global communication over personal connection, and glamor over beauty, Art with Me is an authentic breath of fresh air revitalizing the bond between community, self. and the interconnectivity of all things, ”said Graziano.
